About · ZEROBiE
Built for the people who keep the model honest.
BIM managers, information managers and coordinators spend their days chasing files nobody can open, results nobody can date, and changes nobody owns up to. ZEROBiE is an openBIM platform that takes those three jobs off the list - in the browser, on open formats, with a record you can trust.
01 · How we build
Six rules the code isn't allowed to break.
These aren't values on a wall. Each one is enforced by the software and checked by its tests.
Rule 01 of 06
one row per SHA-256 content hash
Rule 01
Convert once. Remember forever.
Every IFC is converted on our side exactly once, keyed by the SHA-256 of its bytes. Upload the same file again, in any project, and it opens instantly.
Enforced by · one row per SHA-256 content hash
Rule 02
Your browser never chews raw IFC.
Heavy parsing happens on the server. The browser gets light geometry and structured data, which is why a big model opens on an ordinary laptop.
Enforced by · conversion lives only in the processing service
Rule 03
A wall has a name, not a row number.
A finding about an element is tied to that element's stable identity, not its position in one file - so it follows the wall into the next model version instead of starting over.
Enforced by · findings keyed to permanent Object IDs
Rule 04
Nothing is deleted. Things are superseded.
Findings, versions and changes move through states instead of vanishing. Deleting a whole project is the one exception, because you asked for it.
Enforced by · status changes and supersession, never hard deletes
Rule 05
Every change has an author.
Who did it and when is recorded with every governed change - and when the system acts on its own, it says so, rather than pretending nobody did.
Enforced by · an actor and a time on every governed write
Rule 06
Open formats in, open formats out.
IFC, IDS and buildingSMART's published rules are the backbone, so your information is never hostage to our software.
Enforced by · IFC2X3 · IFC4 · IFC4X3 · IDS
02 · On standards
We help you do ISO 19650. We don't do it for you.
ZEROBiE is designed to support information management in accordance with BS EN ISO 19650-2. Conformity is achieved by the appointing and appointed parties through their own processes - no software can hold it on your behalf, and we'd rather tell you that than sell you a badge.
03 · Credits
The building on our homepage is real.
It's Sixty5, a 19-storey residential tower in Strijp-S, Eindhoven, published by Stam + De Koning Bouw under CC BY 4.0. Its geometry comes from the same IfcConvert engine your models go through, with the interior fit-out trimmed so the page loads fast.
